MAC Paint Pots are easily one of my top five makeup products, and the MAC Bougie Pro Longwear Paint Pot is just one of the shades from the MAC Spring 2021 Pro Longwear Paint Pot Collection that launched back in January.

The innovative second skin-like creamy shadow formula blends smoothly over lids and creates seamless, buildable coverage without looking heavy or cakey.
Its superior colour purity stays true and will not streak or crease. Pro Longwear Paint Pot can be mixed with other products, like M·A·C shadows and liners.
The MAC Paint Pots are packaged within clear, glass round jars with black plastic lids. You have to ensure you twist the lid as tight as you can, as they can dry up easily if you dont.
I like to store all of my Paint Pots upside down with the shade names facing up, and I feel like it also helps to prevent them from drying out too.
MAC describes the MAC Paint Pot Bougie as being a red brown with green pearl, but that description just doesnt do the shade justice, nor does my swatch.

I had bought Painterly and wondered if soft Ochre wouldve be better suited to my fair warm complexion. It can be worn alone for a light luminous look or paired with similar shadows for an extra boost of glow. I feel like this shade doesnt get a lot of love but its a much better match for me than Painterly.

We had a great laugh afterwards and it made me think how little things have memories behind them

My Experience With Mac Bare Study Paint Pot:
I cannot express my love for this in less words. I use this mostly as a base under my shadows. I apply it with my ring finger and sheer it out. It gives me around 4-5 hours of creaseless wear. On most days when I do not have enough time to apply anything as hubby is out of the house in 5 minutes, I apply this as a light wash on the lids with a kajal/liner and it gives a nice sheen on my lids. Also, it is really mousse soft and allows great blendability , but once it sets, youre good for hours. I also use this as a highlight for my browbone, nose, cupids bow and on top of the cheeks. This is the most-used product in my vanity.

Packaging wise, its a glass pot which is a bit bulky, so you dont really want to carry it around. Also, my first one cracked in an airline travel, so you might want to wrap it in some clothes or bubble wrap if you travel with it. These paint pots are really worth every penny as they take ages to finish up even if used every day. These can be applied with fingers or brushes and are absolutely not messy. I havent yet met a girl who has used these and doesnt like them. It gives me a light pinkish-champagne sheen and makes the eyes look nice and bright.

It can be worn quite sheerly, where it becomes more of a reddy brown shade. However, the more you apply, the more the shimmer builds up, intensifying the duochrome effect.
Its such a beautiful shade, and is unlike any other cream eyeshadow Ive ever tried. I cannot rave about this shade enough, its amazing and looks so multidimensional on the lids.
